After School Opportunities

 

Girls on the Farm (Elementary School)

Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Semester 1: September 18 - December 12
Semester 2: January 7 - May 23
Age: 3rd, 4th and 5th grades
Cost*: $150.00 per participant per semester or $250.00 for the year

Girls on the Farm is an after-school program designed to engage young women in agriculture experiences. Participants will explore agriculture through hands on activities, games, crafts and observations. Learn how to milk a cow, tack up a horse, spin and felt wool, and make goodies from scratch. Take part in daily chores, go hiking and meet other professionals in the community. Come learn together, make friends and have fun!

*Payment must be made in full or a payment plan must be in place before kids may attend. A payment plan would consist of $10 per day.

Grades 6th, 7th and 8th

Overnight: May 23
