Pigs

Cha-cha and Tango, a mix of Duroc and Yorkshire breeds, were born in early May. Yorkshire and Duroc swine are the two most popular breeds in the United States and are often bred for consumption. Pigs are not as dirty as every one thinks. They would prefer a swimming pool over a mud puddle any day. Pigs cannot sweat, so they will do anything to keep themselves cool and prevent sunburn. Studies have proven that pigs are smarter than dogs and can be trained to sit, lay down; nearly anything that a dog can do a pig can learn to do as well. This year our goal is to "clicker train" the pigs. Watch your fingers around the pigs, they can bite!
