Summer Camp Programs

Summer camp programs at Pineland Farms are designed to:

  • Educate students about local natural history and agriculture
  • Inspire students to become active stewards of land and resources
  • Facilitate a meaningful hands-on experience
  • Connect students to forests, fields, livestock and land
  • Create a positive camp experience emphasizing fun and learning.

Program details are listed below.

Registration – starting April 1, 2009

Registration for camp is required at least two weeks prior to the beginning of each session. Due to limited program space, a $50.00 deposit must be made within one week of registration. Payment in full is required prior to the beginning of camp and may be in the form of cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Pineland Farms and mailed to: Pineland Farms Summer Day Camp, 110 Valley Farm Road, New Gloucester, ME 04260.

Cancellations

Registration for camp is required at least two weeks prior to the beginning of each session. Registration can be processed via mail, by phone or e-mail.

With a 30-day notice, camp tuition can be refunded in full, minus a $50.00 administration fee.

Cancellations made two weeks prior to the session will result in a refund of half the tuition, minus a $50.00 administration fee.

No refund will be granted for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the session.

 

General Camp Infomation

Daily Schedule:

9:00 am - Camper drop off at Pineland Farms Education Center
9:15 am - Camper check in, all camp meeting
9:30 am - Morning activities and snack
12:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - Afternoon activities
2:30 pm - Closing activities
3:00 pm - Pick up at the Pineland Farms Education Center

Camper Gear List:

  • Insulated lunch box (no refrigerator available) with lunch and snack
  • Filled water bottle
  • Sunscreen and bug spray with name written on bottle
  • Sneakers (no sandals, crocs, flip flops or anything that has an open toe)
  • Rain gear
  • Change of clothes: long pants, sweatshirt, hat, shoes and socks
  • Bathing suit and towel for sprinkler (We DO NOT Swim)
  • No toys, electronics, or items of significant value (may be ruined or lost)
